Neutrality Is The Key To Divorce Mediation
Chief PeaceKeeper Scott Levin 00:00
I get this one all the time. Hey, Scott, my lawyer says they can mediate, why don’t we just hire them as our mediator? You know, neutrality is the key to mediation. You have to have someone that both parties trust, and that they don’t believe that they’re on one side or the other. It’s very difficult even as a full time mediator to maintain that neutrality. And I believe that that neutrality comes from someone that’s a full time peacekeeper and not a litigator.
